Shaping the future of urbanising deltas by design

Online webinar, 25 April 2025, 12:00 – 13:00 CEST

What if the key to surviving the climate crisis isn’t just science or policy—but our collective imagination?

The climate crisis demands urgent societal and spatial transformation; the Dutch experience shows how imagination and long-term design can reshape futures. This presentation calls for design to play a central role in climate science, uniting disciplines to spark action, envision change, and build resilience.

This lecture invites curiosity, reflection, and dialogue on the transformative power of design and visionary thinking in shaping resilient futures.

About Asset

ASSET stands for ‘A Spatial Strategy for the Eurodelta, boosting the circular transition of the builT environment’. This project, funded by Interreg North-West Europe, brings together people from cities, regions, and organizations across the Eurodelta who are passionate about accelerating the circular economy in this densely populated area. What do we need for the circular transition? And how do we organize it spatially?

Every month, we invite a different expert to share their view on these questions in one of our Meet & Learn webinars. Have a look at this page for upcoming sessions and past recordings.
